I have a friend in Florida, her name is Chantelle.  She is a beautiful person, even more so on the inside and she inspired this blog today.  Chantelle has 3 incredible boys.  She is kicking it as a single mom.  And she is an inspiration to me in so many ways. 

As I write this, she is literally preparing for a hurricane to hit her home in Florida.

She has brought in all her supplies.
Gas. Food. Water. Sand bags. Sanitary. Emergency First Aid. Batteries. Flash lights. Shelter… etc etc. She has done EVERYTHING she knows and has learned in order to BE PREPARED for the storm.   Her most important supply in my opinion, is her expansive heart filled with love, faith, trust and peace.  These more than anything, are the foundation of her ‘survival’ plan as the hurricane passes through.

 
Chantelle and I have not known each other long, but it feels like we are ancient pals.

To me, Chantelle means love. She means grace. She means surrender. She means creator.  She means luminous light!  She has taught me and continues to teach me a lot and she doesn’t even know it.

Chantelle has had her fair share of hurricanes in her personal life too. She’s weathered many storms.  But you know what, she has come out of it like a diamond, polished from the grains of life scrubbing away at her, revealing her true, deep, undeniable light!

If you are going through any storms in your life right now, no matter how hard it may be for you, I invite you to trust that there is a bigger picture at play. I invite you to sit with the idea that this challenge will reveal a stronger, deeper light in you than ever before.

It is my highest intention to share love and light with you as I continue to walk this path of transforming people’s lives along with my own. I know it might seem like it is hard some days, and I want you to know that it doesn’t have to be that way.

When you are truly being YOU, truly connected to your Source, truly in love with your life and all that is, you will not have space for the storm to hit you down, because for you, ‘down’ means you get to push yourself up with even more clarity and divine direction.  In the hurricane, you get the opportunity to get laser focused on the true desires in your heart.  Laser clarity.  Laser precision on where you need to take your next step. 

Any trouble, any dark days, any hurricanes you are currently facing are a sign that you get to go deep within one more time and rediscover yourself and your Maker. It is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds even more, to trust even more, to have higher faith and deeper love to the truth bestowed in your heart.  Even more.

I know this is hard to comprehend for some folks.   

It is how I choose to understand my reality and the challenges that come to make me BE more.
